According to organizers, this edition continues to utilize the well-established home-and-away double round-robin points system. Each city (prefecture) will host matches at its designated home stadium, with every participating team playing seven home games and seven away games. All four matches per round are arranged on weekends.
After the league concludes, the Qinghai Provincial Sports Bureau will coordinate and organize top-performing teams to engage in exchange matches with elite squads from other provincial super leagues, including Jiangsu, Hunan, Liaoning, Jiangxi, Guizhou, Ningxia, and Gansu. Local authorities are also encouraged to invite counterpart teams from supporting provinces and neighboring regions for friendly competitions based on their specific circumstances.
